In order to improve our offerings for students, guests and staff/faculty and along with a stringent stance to security and safety of all benefactors, we are now introducing new parking procedures on campus. In order to implement this you will be seeing new signage put up in the coming days to highlight the parking procedures and to discourage trespass. The new procedures will also ensure that there are dedicated zones for students, staff/faculty, guests and disabled requirements.
All vehicles will now require to display a valid parking permit and vehicles must park only in dedicated zones. Please find a map attached for the revised parking plan for LST and you are required to adhere to this. Parking will remain complimentary to all LST patrons, students and staff/faculty though any misuse of parking may result in a fine/fee. If your designated zone is full then you can contact Reception to obtain a temporary guest permit.
We will review the zones based on usage over the coming weeks to ensure that adequate spaces are available for all. During peak periods such as freshers week and graduation the parking restrictions will be relaxed to allow use of all spaces due to the increased demand.
Note: Spaces by the garage/refuse collection zone will be only for residents in PG House/staff accommodation, maintenance vehicles or deliveries. If you require a parking space then please complete your requirements and vehicle details in the link below. You will have an option to add multiple cars if you drive more than one.
Once you have submitted your request then kindly allow a couple of days for this to be processed during this busy pre-freshers week but I will endeavour to have your permits available for collection from your respective pigeon hole in SCR for Monday/Tuesday next week.
