Sabbatical Visitors
London School of Theology welcomes those looking for a temporary home during a sabbatical or period of scholarship, offering a supportive environment for rest, reflection, and study.
Whether you are planning a sabbatical from ministry or teaching or need a place to stay while you research, rest or study, London School of Theology welcomes you to our warm and welcoming campus.
Situated in Northwood, the Northwest of London, our campus has an excellent theological library. We also offer fully-catered services and ensuite accommodation.
We welcome applications from sabbatical visitors for periods of one week to one year. You may book accommodation at LST for some or all of this time.
Join our vibrant community of students and faculty.
As a sabbatical visitor, you are welcome to attend our weekly Chapel, prayer and worship events, social events, research seminars, and conferences (paying the student rate where ticketed).
You may also audit classes with the permission of the lecturer. Library access is available for free while resident and at a low visitor rate for non-residents. Fees for borrowing and digital library access are given below.
While residing at LST, we ask sabbatical visitors to not be in active employment, although very part-time teaching is acceptable.
You will be asked to provide a brief proposal and references, via the application form.
