Born in Scotland, Alison trained as a doctor and worked in hospital anaesthetics before studying theology and becoming a minister. She was ordained by the Elim Pentecostal Church in 2003 and has worked at LST since 2016. As Chaplain she oversees the chapel worship services and prayer times, and also leads the student pastoral support team. Alison and her husband William (a former LST faculty member) have two grown-up sons.
