Following the devastating news of the immediate closure of Spurgeon’s College, The Revd Professor Mark J. Cartledge, the Principal of LST writes:

“The announcement by Spurgeon’s College that it is closing with immediate effect is both shocking and terribly sad. The College has provided highly regarded theological education for Baptist and other Free Church students since 1856. LST has had a very good relationship with Spurgeon’s College over many years, with colleagues from both our institutions collaborating in various ways. We shall miss the College’s distinct contribution to theological education in service of the Kingdom of God. Our thoughts and prayers are with our friends at the College as they navigate the next stage of their journey. Please do join with us as we pray for everyone involved in the College at this difficult time.”
