Sunil works across disciplines, bringing together biblical engagement, the arts and worship. He has a background in music and sound art and has been a musician and worship leader in Vineyard, Methodist, and Anglican churches. His teaching spans multiple programmes, with modules such as Theology of Worship, Global Christianities, and Theology and Culture. This reflects his passion for engaging with the diversity of God’s world. He is particularly drawn to marginalised voices and how we can listen to these voices. He is bicultural with family roots in Kerala, and has a multicultural and neurodiverse family which influences his theological and teaching approaches.
Sunil’s research interests come in the interaction of four domains engaged through creative practices with an ethic of justice which fosters true community towards Trinitarian worship.
