Shine Jesus Shine Project

On 29 November 2025, members of the London School of Theology Gospel Choir and Jazz Ensemble were invited to take part in a special recording of Graham Kendrick’s much-loved anthem, “Shine Jesus Shine.” The project was led by Steve and Velveta Thompson of Beracahmusic, bringing together singers from across the United Kingdom for a remarkable moment of unity in worship.

The recording was released on 18 December 2025 under the name All Nations One Voice Choir, a newly formed collective comprising more than 160 adult singers, alongside a 147-strong children’s choir. Together, they represent over 65 churches and organisations, reflecting a powerful expression of unity across generations, cultures, and denominations.

The origins of the project trace back to an extraordinary vision received by Nicole Hobday when she was just 13 years old. She envisioned people throughout the UK singing and praying over the nation through Shine Jesus Shine. When she shared this vision with Steve Thompson—who has served as Graham Kendrick’s Music Director for over 35 years—the seeds were sown for what would eventually become a national worship initiative.

For London School of Theology, it was a privilege to be part of such a significant project. Students not only contributed musically but also experienced the joy of worshipping alongside a wider body of believers, united by a shared calling to pray for the nation through song.

The single “Shine Jesus Shine” is now available for streaming and download on all major platforms, carrying with it a message of hope, light, and unity for this generation.
