Website St Paul's Daybrook
St Paul’s Daybrook (Nottingham) seeks to appoint a Children, Youth & Families Team Leader. Over the last three years, our children & youth ministry has been an encouraging part of our growth and this is an exciting opportunity for someone to build upon and lead the existing team on a flourishing ministry within St. Paul’s Daybrook (SPD).
We are a growing & lively church in the heart of Daybrook with a mix of traditional and modern worship styles. The parish is on the outskirts of Nottingham and is a diverse community, with some areas facing real challenges like high unemployment and limited resources. Just under a quarter of the population is aged under 18.
We have good connections with our link school, Burntstump Seely, where we support with collective worship, RE lessons and visits to our own church building. We believe there is a real opportunity to build on this further and with other local schools.
Working pattern to be agreed, as flexible working is essential to the needs of the role. It is expected the role holder will be an active member of the church and attend on Sundays when we worship and offer groups for young people aged between 1 and 18 years old. We also run mid week groups which have good attendance.
The role is 37.5 hours per week and the salary is £25,500 – 26,500 with a 7% pension contribution and 25 days holiday.
