St Anselm’s is a vibrant, multicultural church where music is central to worship and community life.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic musician to support our diverse programme of choirs, children’s and youth music, worship and community music. The Associate Director of Music will have particular responsibility for our choir for secondary-aged children.
The extra 4 hours in the role are guaranteed for the first year, to cover some responsibilities for the Director of Music during maternity leave as well as the first year of a new adult choral scholarship scheme. The hours will be reviewed at the end of this time.
We are looking for someone with strong keyboard and choir-directing skills, as well as management and teaching capability, experience of church music, and the ability to inspire people of all ages and backgrounds.

This is a Christian ministry role and there is a genuine occupational requirement for the successful applicant to be a practising Christian.
